25 books turned films
many movies were bestseller books first before made into films. about 7 or 8 years ago, i can still recall how i couldn’t stop myself from reading the harry potter series and finish it within a week. same as the effects of tolkien‘s books on me. reading the lord of the rings‘ adventurous chapters on a stormy night is recommended because the weather sets the mood and can bring the characters to life (at least for me).
some movies based on my favorite books disappointed me a bit because they didn’t contain my favorite scenes and even characters. but that’s understandable given the idea that it’s difficult to squeeze all the details in an hour and forty-five minute film. i’m glad though that words from books are spread through movies for those who do not have the time to read or those who do not like reading at all.
