i just bought a red nokia 6300 last sunday and i decided to do a test drive on all of the features so that i can make full use of it. sure i have a broadband connection at home but when i’m away from my computer for a long time, it kinda makes me miss surfing the web and also keeps me wondering what could be in my email inbox. thanks to my sister for directing me to this website where one can download the MMS, GPRS / WAP, Internet Settings, Streaming, Push to Talk, Email and over the air updates from nokia settings through SMS.

just go to this website: http://www.nokia.com.ph/A4531034 and click on “download standard settings”, accept the terms, choose your phone model, location, the network you are subscribed to, and type your mobile number. you will receive the settings on your phone via SMS. all you have to do is to save it and enter the PIN code setting that was given to you after ordering it online. try to send a test MMS to your own number and surf the web. that’s all folks! hope this worked for you as it did for me :)
