extreme home makeover
don’t you just love watching makeover tv shows? well, i do. i love learning from them and i love watching the facial expressions of people whose lives are being transformed.
last night, i watched extreme home makeover and i was so moved by it that i cried. it’s the walswick family with 9 children and whose head of the family died 3 years ago because of brain tumor. they were so loved by the whole community and it’s obvious how lovable they are especially the cute, well-raised kids.
they have a huge house and lot but it was completely out of order. after the makeover, it turned into a PARADISE HOME! truly a dream home with tree house and outdoor theater, game room, chef’s kitchen, designer rooms, and an oak tree just outside the house symbolizing the roots of their father.
it was really great. i’ll be more than happy to know what’s been going on with them after the makeover.
it also made me wonder when are we going to move in to our dream home? we’ve sorted our things out last christmas and we can move any time without that much stress. also, a relative of ours from abroad might be coming back and so they were looking for cross country moving companies for assistance. i’ll be more than happy to join them with home improvement and design.
