closer to dream home?

really looking forward to moving in to a better house before the year ends. distractions are inevitable but slowly, i guess we’re making progress. we’ve done some house tripping and found some that we just like, but not REALLY REALLY like. would look for more. hopefully we’re close to meeting the dream house.

also considering a plain lot and then building the house from scratch that my brother could design (he’s a civil engineer) and work on from shutter hardware to bathroom faucets.

i do not know anything about buying a house but you can count on me when it comes to taking care of it and probably designing. sigh. i just can’t wait.

i love babies! but i have to say, not my own yet so soon. i just don’t feel like i’m prepared for that responsibility yet. anyway, i love babysitting and all the cute things such as this uppababy vista stroller. colorful toys, tiny clothes, baby shoes and stuff… they never fail to make me smile. babies are miracles to me and it’s kinda hard to imagine how we all came from being one who knew no words, no evil thoughts, no worries, and just simply waking up to play, eat, and live.

some people do it for simply looking good. some people need it because their health is already at risk. if dieting do not seem to be enough to achieve the goal for a given time, bariatric surgery is recommended. type 2 diabetes, ovulation problems, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. those are just some of the health problems where gastric bypass surgery can be beneficial. there are many things to consider though like your health insurance and of course, if you can take the surgery risks. just check out the link for more info.

careful not to mess with your skin too much. make ups and bad regimen can ruin your natural beauty just like what happened to me. having pimples through the transition to teenhood is natural but if taken heavily with strong chemicals can leave long term, ugly traces. better see a dermatologist instead of trying every possible cure on your own. here are a list of zit creams that you may want to look at and consult your skin expert with.

i don’t know if it’s embarrassing at all because the number of people i know who dealt with it is increasing. some of those i heard were easy to deal with, some were even hospitalized for it. whatever they’ve gone through, what relieves the worry is that they were all cured because of the best hemorrhoid treatment they got. to those who do not wish to have it, just follow the preventive measures. drink lots of water and include fiber in your diet. watch out computer addicts! sitting too long can cause pressure to hemorrhoidal veins! let’s move it! move it!

i’m glad because my current skin regimen works really good for me and it doesn’t include lots of chemicals. it’s just soap, water and toner. i have less breakouts even if i don’t have enough sleep and even if i’m too stressed. a long time ago, i’ve undergone blackheads treatment and yes, it was worth it. it’s just that some other factors involving my habits is reversing the better effects of it. i’m happy that i’m done with that and on my way to having clear skin.

just recently, a friend of mine was hospitalized and was advised to lose weight because of his heart condition. i realized i should be doing the same because diabetes runs in the family. although i have no symptoms yet, i guess prevention is the cure. anyway, i’ve read about conjugated linoleic acid and how it helps burn fat and build muscles. i would probably include this is my diet plan which now includes low salt, low sugar, lots of fruits and vegetables.

summer rashes

summer isn’t my favorite of the year. why? because i love it sunny but cold. and i’ll never stop loving the beach anyway even if it’s cold. and because 2 years ago, i had to deal with rashes all over my body due to summer heat. i thought it’s eczema. thank God it’s just one of those passing, not-to-worry-about skin conditions. but if you’re someone who goes out to work during the summer and you have to prevent yourself from scratching and sometimes have to hide the redness by wearing long sleeves and pants… oh my, how uncomfortable. well i hope that won’t happen again.

lawyer of the family

having a lawyer in the family made everyone in the clan really proud. from lsat prep to bar exam, my uncle made it a point to support my cousin with her chosen endeavor. her success felt like our success too!

i still remember when uncle told us about her sleeping with her pocketbooks either on her lap, stomach, or face. that made me curious about books and see for myself if i could fall asleep just the same while reading. i am really fond of books but these days, i love sleeping much more. i feel like i’ve been deprived of it for years. so i guess that says how many books i’ve finished reading and what my future would be with my sleeping. lol!
