GARNIER LIGHT FACE POWDER

i bought this garnier light visible whitening face powder today without reading any reviews. it costs as much as what i was using (maybelline) and since the brand name rings a bell big time, i decided to give it a try. mine is in ivory shade because beige is too dark for my reddish skin. here are what this product claims:

*get fairness that doesn’t shine – garnier light visible whitening face powder provides whitening effect and a 6 hours shine-free look in ultra-light texture.

*its formula combines:
- micronized powder technology for an instant flawless coverage.
- vitamin C to help inhibit melanin production.
- strong UV protection SPF 18 to prevent skin from further darkening and dark spots appearance.
- oil-free texture that absorbs excess oil up to 6 hours.

*fragrance-free / non-comedogenic / non drying

now after reading a few reviews about this product, i feel happy that i picked it! i just don’t like the sponge that came with it, maybe because i’m used to the softer ones. i tried applying it once this evening and i like the glowing effect it gives, like it’s not obvious that i used powder. if this would work for me, i’ll try their other natural products as well like the pore-tightening toner.
