my room makeover
what’s keeping me busy these days? here’s a preview:
this is the corner of my new room after my parents and i decided to switch last monday. it’s the scene you’d see once you enter my door. the red and the gray/white brick pattern are my actual walls, throw pillow cases on the floor for sitting, and the colorful, flowing thing there on the right is my window curtain. crazy, i know!
it’s a room full of patterns and colors because that’s how i want it to be. i like it to be alive and entertaining, complementing my 2009 life. i’m not done with it yet because i need to get a 4-layer shelf or any discount furniture i can pick up this afternoon for the picture frames and other stuff that are still scattered on the floor. the makeover has already exceeded my budget because i thought i just want to move my things but then i keep seeing things around that need repair and extreme makeover so, there you go. i think it would be all worth it in the end.
