POT: to legalize or not?
recently, i encountered a question about my view on legalizing POT in order to raise funds. with that, i’m sure we would not only be raising funds but also paranoid and hallucinated kids with distorted perception of reality. personally, i think that if pot is any good at all, then we won’t hear serious crimes and accidents made by people under its influence.
i admit that i know so little about DRUGS except of course of what i’ve been seeing in the news which involve people of every race, age and career most especially CELEBRITIES because they’re always on the spotlight. the good news is, most of them have decided to change for the better and seek help from their chosen drug rehab centers. some have engaged themselves in more productive activities such as sports and community service. but what’s very disappointing to hear though are those people who struggle to feed their families and yet manage to spend their hard-earned money on DRUGS instead.
learning about the grave effects of drug abuse and description of each type is essential in schools and advertisements on TV. it would be really cool if more influential people would have anti-drug endorsements on huge billboards instead of some other less important adverts.
